Introduction
Paraquat, which is also called gramoxone, is a kind of pyridine compound that can be solved in water easily but slightly solved in acetone or ethanol. It is un-volatilizable and is unstable in alkali mediate. It is a quickly effective contact herbicide that is the second largest yield herbicide in the world nowadays.

Application
Paraquat is a herbicide that is widely used to weed the garden, the crop field and the vegetable planting. It can kill the ruderal without farming and used in grassveld renewal, chemical weed eradication on noncropland. It is used in the stimulation of fade in cotton, heliotrope, soybean and haricot bean, etc.
