White monoclinic system crystalline powder. Melting point is 884℃. Soluble in water and glycerinum. Hardly soluble in ethanol. It easy to absorb moisture to become aqueous sodium sulfate when exposed to air. It transform intohexagon crystal at 241℃. |
Applications
This product is used to produce chemical products like sodium sulphide, ultramarine and sodium silicate . In the paper industry, it serves in product kraft pulp. It is used to replace sodium carbonatein the glass industry. In dying industrial, it is used as fillerand dyeing auxiliaryin printing and dyeing industry. It is also laxativeand antidoteof barium salts poisoning. It is also used in synthon, tanning, non-ferrous metallurgy, ceramic glazeand soap productions.
